As a valued customer, We hope that you love your purchase! If for any reason you are not in love, you may return your purchase in original condition (same condition as shipped) together with the original proof of purchase for a refund (minus shipping and some instances a restocking fee) within 30 days of purchase – please note some product exclusions apply*

We only accept “Returns & Exchanges” for items purchased directly from ProtectorCases.com.au. (please return all other items to the original place of purchase)

  • We require an RMA (Return merchandise authorisation) for each items/products being returned or exchanged.
  • 15% restocking fee may apply to some Items/Products returns.
  • You will be responsible for return shipping costs (if you are located in South Australia, items can be return to our Head-Office located at Vale Park, Mon to Fri 9am to 4pm.
  • Damaged or Faulty Products (not by accidental damage or unauthorised modifications). These may be replaced with an identical item (only if in stock).

Your item(s) must be in un-opened & original condition with plastic wrap/sleeve (intact) – mat unrolled.

Returns Exclusions – Items/Products that can’t be exchanged or refunded will be clearly marked on the product pages, or within the website and relevant sales channels. Please refer to the list of exclusions below – however in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, at our sole discretion, we may replace the item, offer an exchange, refund or provided a online store credit.

  • Refund or replace any faulty/defective, damaged goods. We may offer a partial refund if after inspection, we deem that “you” the customer has contributed to the defect/damage.
  • Repair any minor defect, and at our sole discretion, we may replace or provide a refund if we are unable to repair/rectify the problem
  • In the instance, where the product is “DOA” or “Factory Defective Item” (excluding normal wear & tear) Protector Cases will offer to pay for the complete or partial return postage and handling costs.


Please refer to our list of excluded products below, however at our sole discretion, we may offer to replace the item, offer an exchange, refund or provided a online store credit.

  • “Scratch and Dent” are designated as a final sale, cannot be returned and are non-refundable.
  • “Limited Edition” (inc 1 of 1, or rare items, but not limited to) are designated as a final sale and cannot be
    returned and are non-refundable.
  • “Custom Made to Order” are designated as a final sale, cannot be returned and non-refundable
  • “HAKO 2.0 Display Light-boxes & Desktop Diorama Mats” which have been “Opened” which is defined by the following: the original plastic removed, and/or protective film/sleeve removed etc..cannot be returned and are non-refundable, unless the product is faulty (not by accidental damage or unauthorised modifications)

  • “Speciality Orders / Pre-orders Returns”
    A Speciality Order/Pre-order is an item that has not yet come into stock, but you can pre-purchase it to secure your piece. Items/Products are paid 100% up front and are then shipped out to you as soon as they arrive (no further action required by you). A Speciality Orders / Pre-orders is a contract of sale between Protector Cases and ‘you’ the customer. These are non-refundable. Items that are damaged and/or faulty will be replaced (only if the identical replacement item is in stock) or an online store credit will be provided.
  • “Other Items” – This may include: HotWheels (Mainline, Premium, RLC), Matchbox, Tamiya Models, and other Diorama type sets, but not limited to… These items will be clearly labeled and designated as “final sale“, and cannot be returned and are non-refundable.

Exchanges are only available if the identical replacement items are in stock.

If, however the Items/Products are sold out:
we can process your return, you will receive a refund, applied to the original payment method. Refunds are for the purchase price of the item(s). Shipping fees are non-refundable.

If you simply changed your mind about a purchase, Protector Cases will be pleased to offer you a refund or exchange provided that:

  • You return the item within 14 days of purchase.
  • You produce a satisfactory proof of purchase (being your original receipt or online proof of purchase, such as a tax invoice)
  • The Item/s are in brand-new, unopened and in resalable condition.

Unless Australian Consumer Law applies, please note change of mind returns are not available for purchases designated as “final sale” please refer to our “Products Excluded for Returns” list above.

Please ensure when returning your Items/Products to us:

  • All accessories/manuals etc.., and the original packaging are included.
  • Please ensure the appropriate packaging to avoid damage during shipping.
  • Please provide us the return shipping ‘tracking number’.
  • Please remember to include your RMA & personal details, so we can quickly identify who the return is from.


Please Note:
You will be responsible for return shipping costs, or if you are located in South Australia, items can be return to our Head-Office located at Vale Park, Mon to Fri, between 9am to 4pm.

Once we receive your returned items, a team member will assess and inspection the goods, and we will be in touch within 7 Days to arrange a refund or exchange (if in stock).

Refunds are applied to the original payment method and are for the purchase price of the item(s).

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

You can create a free account to track your orders. If you have an exisiting account, please use the same email address (as your Sendle account) when placing your online order with us, allowing your new order to be linked to your existing Sendle account.

Delivery dates and Times
The shipping times provided are estimates only**. We’ll inform you if an item is out of stock. If an item is back-ordered, it will be shipped as soon as it becomes available. For pre-orders or advance orders, we will let you know when you can expect the item to be available for shipment.
